Our system is currently web-enabled. Isn't that the same as web-based?
Not really. Web-enabled solutions typically require that you install their software on your computer. This means that you're not only extremely limited to where and how you can access your employee time data but you're also responsibly for installing any required security patches and upgrades. TimeMD is 100% web-based. We manage all enhancements and maintenance without interrupting your service or charging additional fees. Your also free to access your employee time data from anywhere you have access to the internet through our secure web login.

If an employee forgets to clock out, is that easy to fix?
Notifications can be setup to notify managers of this and many other types of time tracking violations. Once the manager is aware of the violation, they can make the necessary changes quickly and easily from anywhere they have an internet connection. Every change made to a time entry is then documented and made available on demand. TimeMD also provides a way for managers to record why the change was made.

Can employees change their own time entries?
Only if you need them to! This type of permission can be easily setup for any employee that requires this type of functionality. Otherwise you can rest assured that your employees are not modifying their own time entries without your direct permission.

We round our time entries to the quarter hour, do you support that?
Yes! TimeMD has multiple rounding rules that you can choose from. As a fail-safe, we store both the rounded time and the actual time for every rounded time entry.

Are holiday hours automatically included?
Yes! Holiday hours are automatically added to the payroll report for eligible employees. You're also free to set-up as many holidays as you'd like from within your account preferences.

What about breaks or meals, can your system track those?

What about reimbursements, can we track those?
Yes! TimeMD can accommodate any pay code, expense or reimbursement that your payroll provider supports. You can also run real-time reports on this type of data entry.

How long will you store my time entries for? Do I need to worry about archiving my data?
Time entries are stored indefinitely. Rest assured that for as long as you have an account with TimeMD, all your time entries are just a few clicks away. This includes both active AND in-active personnel. If you do wish to archive your time tracking records you're free to do so however it is not required.

Our company is spread out over multiple cities, is that a problem?
No, you have the ability to set-up an unlimited number of work locations from within your TimeMD account. There are no restrictions to the number of employees or locations that you may wish to set-up. Plus, since TimeMD is web-based, all your locations will have access to the exact same employee data and time records all in real-time.
